“we drew”

We asked Syrian children we have worked with and known for a long time to draw us what they imagine (using WhatsApp voice notes).

They told us about the memories they had of us visiting them and wishing for us to meet again. They drew their school, that we built with them.

They told us that now they are staying at home washing their hands very well but can’t go out. They imagined a home with greenery around and an apple tree.
